At Sayga, we firmly believe that Corporate Social Responsibility should be by default part and parcel of any responsible business investment and an essential prerequisite for sound business decisions and activities. Since its establishment, Sayga’s Corporate Responsibility efforts were reflected in its various activities and initiatives and deeply embedded in its strategic business direction and aspirations.

Sayga places great emphasis on the Corporate Social Responsibility Strategy and Policy to realize the vision of the Managing Director reflected in “a determination to bring economic, social and environmental benefits to our nation”.

At Sayga, we adopted the World Business Council for Sustainable Development definition:
"Corporate Social Responsibility is the continuing commitment by business to behave ethically and contribute to economic development while improving the quality of life of the workforce and their families as well as of the local community and society at large."

We recognize that our company has the potential to make significant impact on its staff, customers, the environment and broader society. This policy is put in place to reflect our commitment and ensure that our different stakeholders are aware of our beliefs, direction and the values we observe while conducting business.

Sayga’s long term CSR goal:
“We are at the forefront of the Sudanese Businesses to integrate CSR in our business strategy. We continue to contribute to upgrading the Sudanese Food Industry and the Sudanese economy by guaranteeing sustainability in all our business activities.”
This is achieved through:
